Percepción del ambiente educacional después del cambio curricular en la carrera de odontología de la Universidad de Antofagasta en Chile

Introduction: In 2019, a change was implemented in the curriculum of dentistry career at University Antofagasta Chile. The objective this study to analyze perception educational environment first-year students who studied new Antofagasta, 2019.Methods: Quantitative, observational, descriptive, cross-sectional study, end first year implementation 2019. validated DREEM questionnaire applied Spanish, determine these students. For statistical analysis, STATA 14.0 ® used.Results: 53 completed (79.1%). average score complete 129.56 (SD 18.94), which indicates more positive than negative environment. No statistically significant differences were found by sex, both complete entonquestionnaire and its subscales. Five questions with scores that indicate areas perceived as problematic students, are related role teacher (teaching too much emphasis on details teachers authoritarian) stress management (perception studying is greater their enjoyment, they tired enjoy studies do notknow or believe there no support systems university for suffer from stress).Conclusion: perceived, most part, negative.
